Allegations of Betrayal: IHH, the Turkestan Islamic Association, and the Controversial Intelligence Report

Why Did IHH Write a DAESH Report to MIT Regarding the East Turkestan Association?

Did the IHH official, Dilaver, receive instructions from China? Why did he oppose bringing Uyghur Turks from Malaysia to Turkey? What interest did he or IHH have in this matter? Who benefits from associating Uyghur Turks and our association with DAESH? How can a person warned by MIT that “DAESH will kill you” be labeled a DAESH member? How can such a report be written?

The Turkestan Islamic Association, which fights in the way of Allah for the independence of East Turkestan under Chinese occupation, has been active for approximately 15 years to make the world hear the voices of Uyghur Turks suffering torture and oppression in Chinese concentration camps.

Our enemy, China, conducts cross-border operations in many countries. We were there for over ten thousand Uyghur Turks stranded in Malaysia. We were there when they were arrested in Thailand and Indonesia. We stayed behind the cameras. When the press and media asked, unlike pro-American Uyghurs, we concealed many things for the benefit of the Uyghur people.

IHH’s Great Betrayal of Uyghur Turks…

In coordination with the Turkish Consulate in Malaysia, we were processing the release of nearly 20 Uyghur brothers to bring them to Turkey that week. We needed to buy tickets for 20 people on the same flight. A list had arrived from the Malaysian Turkish Consulate for the tickets, but we did not have the money. We needed approximately $20,000.

A friend suggested we go to IHH and ask for help, mentioning he had contacts there. He introduced us to a person named DILAVER, who was the official in charge at IHH Headquarters at that time. Our task was to explain the plight of the Uyghur Turks and request that they purchase plane tickets for their journey from Malaysia to Turkey. We were at the IHH Fatih Headquarters, and DILAVER was sitting across from us. When Dilaver replied, “IHH DOES NOT HAVE AN EAST TURKESTAN FUND,” I could barely make it to the stairs of the building, struggling to hold back my tears.

I told DILAVER that he could open my official association email on his computer to see the list of Uyghurs to be released sent by the Malaysian Turkish Consulate. I emphasized that I wasn’t asking for money for myself, only for him to buy tickets for the names on that list. I was facing someone heartless and merciless. Unfortunately, this is the hidden face of IHH. Do not be fooled by the crocodile tears they shed at East Turkestan panels; if there is no self-interest involved, they do not care one bit about the Chinese genocide, Nazi camps, or the deportation of Uyghurs from Malaysia back to those camps. I have lived this, experienced it, and now I am reporting it to you.

A Race Against Time

We were racing against time. We had to buy tickets for all detainees on the same day and flight. If we bought them for different times, we would have to contact Malaysian authorities multiple times, risking China becoming aware of the situation. Our anxiety was proven right by the arrests that occurred a few weeks later.

In the following days, a member of our Board of Directors was arrested at the Malaysian airport. His “crime” was trying to help Uyghur Turks. I wonder, who informed on him?

Does IHH Really Have No East Turkestan Fund?

If IHH truly has no East Turkestan fund, why do they collect donations by using the rhetoric of “oppressed East Turkestanis”? Is this money used to host five-star dinners for American-backed East Turkestan associations? Or do those associations spend it? Those associations already receive enough support from America. They have schools, buildings, and everything they need. They are even bold enough to claim they opened an “Uyghur Office” in the CIA building. They have reduced the Uyghur cause to nothing more than shouting in squares and promoting their own associations. So, who will buy the plane tickets for these captives?

At that time, two journalists heard about the incident and reached out to me, asking why IHH refused to buy the tickets and claimed they had no fund. If the captive Uyghurs in Malaysia appeared in the press, China would find out and demand their extradition. For the benefit of our Muslim brothers, we had to deny the incident. As we said at the beginning, we always preferred to stay behind the cameras.

Do not worry about the plane tickets; we, as the Turkestan Islamic Association, bought them. We took out loans. And Allah (SWT) granted us the means to pay back that debt.

Why Did IHH Write a DAESH Report to MIT?

About a year later, the IHH official DILAVER “thanked” us by writing a report to the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) labeling us as DAESH. Did he take instructions from China? Why did he not want the Uyghurs to come to Turkey? What was his or IHH’s interest?

Today, the reports provided by those running with IHH and similar American-backed Uyghur associations turned the Taliban file into Al-Qaeda, and a French journalist’s interview into DAESH. Tawhid was silenced, and Uyghur Turks were made to submit to America and Democracy.

In the report Dilaver gave, I want to draw your attention to a detail shared by MIT officials: The person who supposedly took me to IHH to meet Dilaver was allegedly DAESH. Therefore, I was also labeled DAESH. This is what was relayed to me from the report.

Mr. Dilaver, if that is the case, why did you give “…” and “…” to the person you called DAESH? On whose behalf did you give them? What else did you provide? Is the one requesting plane tickets for captive Uyghurs the criminal? We clearly stated this to MIT, so why is Dilaver not in the file?

The funny part is that at the time we requested tickets for the Uyghur Turks, an organization called DAESH had not even been founded yet. Dilaver waited for the opportunity, and once DAESH was established, he went to MIT and wrote a report claiming we were members. We explained this clearly to the MIT officers. They throw a DAESH slander into your file, and eventually, it comes back to find you. Who else has IHH reported as DAESH? Don’t we know how to fill in the blanks mentioned above? From whom does Dilaver get the authority to give whatever he wants to whomever he wants?

The Path of Tawhid

There is only one feature that distinguishes our association from others: TAWHID. We are those who know that the only way to salvation for East Turkestan is through the method of Allah and His Messenger. Today, as the President of the Association, I, Yılmaz Şahin, and our board member M.C., have been sentenced twice for “managing a terrorist organization.” One must ask Dilaver how he extracted Al-Qaeda and DAESH from a Taliban file and an interview with a French journalist.

There is much to write and talk about. For now, we find it more appropriate to be patient. We are a community of Turks who love their homeland and nation.

The prosecutors who opened our files and the police chiefs who conducted the operations are still in prison due to FETÖ cases. The game started with FETÖ, and IHH’s MIT report was the icing on the cake. Is IHH trying to finish the work that their “FETÖ brothers” couldn’t? We do not know if there is a FETÖ structure within IHH.

Today, through the efforts of IHH and structures with the same mindset, the Infidel Communist People’s Republic of China demands that we, the association directors, be handed over to concentration camps. We are not later-naturalized citizens; we are the only East Turkestan association founded by Turkish citizens.

We call upon Mazlumder, human rights organizations, conscientious lawyers, and NGOs: intervene in our court cases, or at least follow and announce the Supreme Court and appeal processes. Protect the Uyghur Turks. We are Muslims of Tawhid who have been sentenced to 14 years for our struggle against China.

We are in Turkey; we love our homeland and the Uyghur Turks, and we will not leave Turkey. We will not be afraid to speak the truth when necessary. We will continue our struggle in line with the method of Allah and His Messenger.
